Global software development corporation, IGT, has announced an expansion to its senior leadership team, with the appointment of three new executive roles. This includes Chairperson of IGT Global Solutions Corporation, Bob Vincent; Senior Vice President of Global Brand, Marketing and Communications, Wendy Montgomery; and Senior Vice President of Corporate Public Affairs, Scott Gunn.

The announcement of the new leadership roles follows the recent positive developments for the company as a result of the recent International Gaming Awards at the London ICE convention.

Bob, Wendy, and Scott are all seasoned industry professionals with specialized individual skills who bring great value to IGT. Marco Sala, IGT Chief Executive Officer

Sala continued, “I look forward to Bob’s continued contribution as the new chairperson of our operating subsidiary, and I am pleased to have Wendy and Scott join our senior leadership team. IGT is constantly evolving to maintain our position as the industry leader in gaming, and I am confident that these appointments will positively impact our business and serve us well in the coming years.”

Bob Vincent

Bob Vincent has been appointed to the role of Chairperson of IGT Global Solutions Corporation, which is the main subsidiary for the company’s United States lottery operations. Vincent will begin his new role as of 8 April, 2019, and will be working as a senior consultant to Sala, as well as the other members of the senior leadership team.

According to IGT, Vincent has been working with the company in some shape or form since 1000, initially as a consultant. He officially joined the business in 1996 and throughout his time he has held a number of different leadership roles.

Vincent will take on the new Chairperson role and leave his current position as Executive Vice President for Administrative Services and External Relations. Outside of IGT, the company says Vincent is also a member of several Rhode Island-based committees and boards. This includes the University of Rhode Island Foundation, The University’s Harrington School of Communication and Media, and the Rhode Island Hospital Foundation.

Scott Gunn

Scott Gunn is taking on the role of the Senior Vice President of Corporate Public Affairs for the company. Gunn has begun the position as of the official company announcement on 13 February, reporting directly to CEO, Marco Sala.

In this position, Gunn will be responsible for all public affairs activities around the government relations strategy. According to the IGT press release announcing the appointment, this will include “directing and facilitating government relationships and public engagement to advance global business interests for the North American and International business units.”

Gunn has held various positions at IGT over his 24-year tenure, including roles in public affairs, operations, business development, and sales. Alongside his new role in Corporate Public Affairs, Gunn also is Chairperson of the company’s Political Action Committee, and is a member of IGT’s Executive Diversity and Inclusion Council. Outside of the software development company, Gunn is on the Board of Advisors for Reviver Auto, a California-based digital license plate venture.

Wendy Montgomery

Wendy Montgomery has also immediately taken on her new role, in this case as Senior Vice President of Global Brand, Marketing, and Communications. Along with Gunn and Vincent, Montgomery will also report directly to IGT CEO, Marco Sala.

In her new position, Montgomery will be responsible for the IGT global brand, trade show and external communication strategies. This sill include all community relations, responsible gambling and corporate social responsibility responsibilities.

Montgomery is a fairy recent addition to the IGT family, having come on board in 2018 as the Senior Vice President of Global Lottery Marketing. Before moving joining the software business, Montgomery was in a leadership position at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for 13 years. In this role, she was responsible for all marketing, operations, policy and planning and sales operations, as well as the company’s iGaming operations.

IGT has been in business since 1975, becoming a NASDAQ-listed business in 2014. It currently holds offices in the UK, United States and continental Europe, employing over 12,000 personnel across its global operations.
